Editing, consultancy and teacher training

In addition to authoring, I have experience of many other aspects of ELT materials development. These include editing classroom material for substantial projects, developing teacher-training materials and training teachers to create their own materials. Commissions include:

Open University

Consultant, editor and writer for English in Action, an award-winning UK Aid-funded project to improve ELT in state schools throughout Bangladesh, with the academic aspects fulfilled by the OU. My roles have included writing teachers’ guides, writing teacher training workshops and other materials, training local authors to produce additional components and editing materials produced by local authors.
